This Schroth Rallye 4 is designed specifically for the E46 3 series BMW. These belts offer "clip-in/clip-out" convenience with a minimal amount of installation. They simply click into the female part of the BMW factory seat belt! Most points simply click into the female part of BMW factory seat belt. Where an additional attachment point is needed, a small quick release connector is installed to a readily accessible stock seat belt point in less than ten minutes. When not in use, the entire harness can be simply unclicked and removed from the car. This is the first and currently the only DOT approved aftermarket harnessbelt of its kind. The Rally-4 asm® for BMW features Schroth's patented asm (Anti-Submarining Mechanism) shoulder belt design that during an accident greatly reduces the likelihood of submarining, limits peak loads on the chest and neck, and reduces intense contact with the airbag. It comes in Red and Black only. This harness may only be used in the E46 3 series BMW!! NOTE: This harness belt will not work in the convertible model.
