In some cases they can even do damage if they were to get bent or broken in a drop or crash. Specifically, take a look at how your stock mirrors are threaded into the front clutch and brake reservoir housings. If your inflexible stock mirror were to get hit just right, it could do damage to this expensive piece the mirror is mounted to. This is where Double Take mirrors are superior to OEM mirrors, since they are designed to bend or rotate out of the way if they get hit. That might just save your expensive front brake reservoir from being damaged! The Double Take Enduro Mirror from Adventure Mirror, LLC is hands down the best mirror you can buy for your dual sport bike. DoubleTake Enduro Mirror vs. DoubleTake Adventure Mirror: If you're deciding between the Enduro mirror and the Adventure mirror, our advice is simple. If you plan to fold the mirror down a large percentage of the time, or you do a lot of off-road riding, the Double Take Enduro Mirror is right for you. The long size means the head of the mirror tucks away right behind the headlight. If the mirror will remain extended most of the time, or you do mostly highway or street riding, get the Adventure Mirror - the more compact design is more stable at highway speeds. Either way, you can't go wrong. Mirror Specs: What You Get: General Fitment: The Ball Stud base included with this mirror will fit all Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Triumph, Husqvarna, Zero and Suzuki bikes, and the left side on a Yamaha. For the right side on some Yamahas, you'll need to re-use the Yamaha Adapter that is normally attached to your stock mirror. We've successfully fit these mirrors on our Yamaha WR250R, Suzuki DRZ400S, Suzuki DRZ400SM, KTM 350 EXC-F, KTM 690, and Honda CRF250L Project Bikes. They will fit many other dual sport and off-road bikes like the following... BMW Fitment: The Ball Stud base included with this mirror will only fit certain BMW's like the G650GS. It will NOT fit the F650/800 twins or R1200GS models since they require a 10mm x 1.50 ball stud. To make sure these will fit your BMW, verify that a 10mm x 1.25 Ball Stud will fit your particular mounting point. Warranty: Adventure Mirror, LLC will warranty the plastic mirror arm for life. The glass lens is NOT warrantied, but replacements can be purchased separately. RAM parts are warrantied through their manufacturer, NPI.
