Doubletake has done a slight re-design on these mirrors for 2024. The Enduro mirror itself is the same and remains unchanged, but now instead of using a RAM arm and ball stud, Doubletake decided to design their own. The new Doubletake Base Kit is a universal fit, and every ball kit includes a redesigned ball stud with 4 bolts to allow fitment to any bike and eliminate unsightly adapters. The new Doubletake Arm 3.5 is made from A380 Die Cast aluminum and perfect for aggressive riders - long enough to see, but small enough to tuck away. It has been engineered to keep the mirror from moving, except when it has to in an impact. The low profile thumb nut is 25% longer to make adjustment easy even wearing gloves. Doubletake Mirrors vs. OEM Mirrors The mirrors that come standard on KTM / Husqvarna/ GASGAS motorcycles work OK from a functional standpoint, and are fine for street use, but are not ideal for off-road riding. In some cases they can even do damage if they were to get bent or broken in a drop or crash. Specifically, take a look at how your stock mirrors are threaded into the front clutch and brake reservoir housings. If your inflexible stock mirror were to get hit just right, it could do damage to this expensive piece the mirror is mounted to. This is where Double Take mirrors are superior to OEM mirrors, since they are designed to bend or rotate out of the way if they get hit. That might just save your expensive front brake reservoir from being damaged! Fitment: Most KTM and Husqvarna models that come from the factory with mirrors that are either threaded into the stock clutch/brake perch, or have another type of threaded mirror mounting point on each side... NOTE: If you want just one mirror, instead of a pair, you can purchase them individually here.
